About Potential Buddha

I started Potential Buddha as a student in 2005. The first thing that came out of PB was a small organic clothing line called Awareness Wear, that enabled people to wear their “Buddha potential” on their chest. Due to great success, a limited amount of this line is still available through our original webshop.

In 2006 and 2007, Potential Buddha organized “Yoga Clubbing Events”, where we would tour Dutch yoga studios with a DJ who would lead the yoga class musically. Afterwards we would throw a party, full of danceable beats and organic food and drinks. We had a blast. Check out some videos of these Yoga Clubbing tours.

In 2008, Potential Buddha teamed up with Yogi Tea to organize “Living Yoga”, a big event in a gorgeous nature area in Holland. It received massive media attention and this workshop filled day, full of yoga, trance dance, ayurvedic cooking, meditation and more, was packed.

Throughout 2008 and 2009, Potential Buddha created a blogosphere with different international experts and friends sharing their insights and ideas on topics such as yoga, food and travel.

In 2009, I started working together more and more in a collective of kindred spirits that I met over these initial years, called Veggie in Pumps. A deep connection with ViP’s owner, Lisette Kreischer developed and we became friends and business partners.  
Potential Buddha –still founded in its original idea of Buddha nature- now represents a more personal side of me. It’s here where you can find my writing, workshops and other activities that I have developed professionally.

What the future holds? Who knows…? PB Publishing? PB movie Productions? PB travels? PB vegan fastfood chain? We’ll see.
