I've just come home from a great Sunday night Kirtan here in Mallorca.  It's been about 2 months since I arrived here and I have started every-other week kirtan's and weekly AcroYoga jams for free to generate community on this island.  And as I have seen in these events, people are hungry to connect with each other in a way that cultivates openness and connection beyond the standard 'lets meet for coffee or to a bar' gathering. 

When I first got here to Palma, I was a bit shocked and slightly disenchanted at the tate of affairs of 'spiritual community'.  I could not fine the right palces to go where people wanted to celebrate life in an awake and conscious state.  But as I began to look deeper, I've found some amazing people doing great things and also heard their desires for a place to connect.  So with the creation of these gatherings, which tonight had about 25 people chanting, there is a new outlet for people here to relate. 

I'm writing about this as a way to share that perhaps you, dear PBblog reader, are hungry for a place to connect with other spiritually conscious people and that you are not alone!  As spiritual beings having a human experience it is important for us to know that the issues we are facing in our lives are pretty common among other Earthlings!  Even though many of us relate to other humans on a daily basis, are we able to add substance to our interactions?  And how is it that os many people interact with each other and talk and talk and talk but don't really have much to say?  When we are able to see each other as divine beings all sharing the planet together and use our words to support and love each other, then we can make a positive shift.  There is a great saying I love to share that says;"your words reflect your thoughts, your thoughts reflect your beliefs and your beliefs reflect your life."  So ultimately, the words we speak reflect the direction and depth and of our lives so we should be using them powerfully and as a way to connect as human beings on a soul to soul level. 

So knowing that you are not alone in the desire to be connected and aware of the power of your words....what can / are you doing to bring people together with the intention of expansion?

Some of you may already have very strong and supportive communities that allow you grow and this excellent!  And personally, I feel those of us are able to inspire and connect others have a respobsibility to share these communities and invite others to join as a way to spread positive vibrations. 

In closing this post, I would love if some of you are willing to take some time to post your ideas and / or actions for conscious community as a way to let the universe (and our friends on the internet) know about where we can gather.  Our forces of social and spiritual revolution are much greater together.
