About pressure cookers and courage

'I don't know, when I share this expercience it all sounds so vague, you know. I'm almost embarrassed to tell my friends about it. Walking on fire, sufi, heartchakra mediation, looking for my inner child..."

An email from a fiend who's been going through rough weather because of a break up with her boyfriend of 10 years. Crisis. But crisis is also opportunity and my friend is brave enough to dig deep inside herself looking for clues. Therapy didn't help so she decided to throw herself head on in the deep. An intensive three day pressure cooker and she did all the stuff a mentioned above and more.

"It was amazing," she writes. "I was there surrounded by total strangers. People with far bigger problems, in difficult relationships, suffering. But here was so much trust and love going around. And now I experience a change, there's a shift inside of me. Finally I found the courage to chose for myself. Listen, if I can walk on fire, I can do this, right?"

Right, my friend! If you can find the courage to be so vulnerable, to do things you never thought you would do, empowering yourself in this way: then you don't have to worry about a thing. You'll be fine.
